Periareolar Incision Method (Donut-shaped Incision)

This technique leaves a scar only around the areola. It is suitable for patients with moderately sized and mildly sagging breasts, but the amount of reduction achievable is limited.

Vertical Incision Method (L-shaped Incision)

· Ideal for moderate breast reduction
· Creates a fuller, rounder breast shape compared to other methods
· Less scarring than the inverted-T incision method
· Preserves nipple sensation
· Breastfeeding is possible after surgery

Inverted T Incision Method (Anchor-shaped Incision)

This method involves an “O”-shaped incision around and below the areola, and is effective for patients with large and severely sagging breasts.

Advantages

· Particularly effective for significantly large breasts
· Helps improve skin elasticity in sagging breasts
· Allows for greater volume reduction compared to other methods
· Although the incision is longer and may leave a scar, it gradually fades and is concealed beneath the breast fold
