1 Month Post Arm Lift!!
It has been about one month since I had my arm lift surgery.
Right after the surgery, I felt pain even with the slightest movement of my arms. In the very early stage, I experienced stinging, throbbing pain—even when I was just resting and doing nothing. It honestly just felt painful overall ????
But now!
That kind of pain has almost completely disappeared.
Time really is the best medicine ????
Of course, it’s still a bit difficult to use my arms as naturally as before, but that’s to be expected at this stage ????
I only feel mild pain during certain movements, and in daily life, I’m doing just fine.
One thing I’ve noticed is that when something brushes against the scar area, it’s not a sharp pain, but more of a slight stinging or irritating sensation. I think this just needs more time to heal.
Still, I can definitely feel that I’m gradually recovering.
As for swelling—it’s still there.
I’ve heard that liposuction swelling can continue to go down for up to 6 months, and since an arm lift involves longer incisions, I know it naturally takes even longer. I understand that it will improve with time… but of course, I can’t help wishing it would go down faster ????
That said, seeing that the loose, hanging skin is gone, my arms feel surprisingly different—almost light and empty—whether I lift them or let them hang down ????
The overall thickness of my arms has reduced a lot.
The doctor told me that swelling should be observed for at least 3 months, and that slight differences in swelling between the two arms are normal due to differences in fat removal and incision areas.
That made sense to me, because my left arm has always been bigger than my right—even before surgery ????
And now, my left arm is still more swollen.
So the conclusion is: this is not the final result yet!
I need to give it more time and continue to observe the changes.
For now, I’m focusing on scar care, going on regular walks, and hoping the swelling goes down as soon as possible. I’m also paying attention to my diet, drinking plenty of water, and slowly starting to add exercise back into my routine ????
I’ll continue to manage everything consistently and will share another update as my swelling and scars continue to improve.
Honestly, I believe my current results are thanks to the doctor’s skill and the stem cell treatment.
Rather than feeling impatient, I’m choosing to take my time and enjoy the gradual changes ✨
