I had circumferential arm liposuction along with an arm lift on February 3rd, so I'm about six months out now.
I'm really happy with how it turned out. The loose skin that used to hang off my arms is gone, and now when I wear a fitted top, there's no bulge sticking out at the back of my arms. It's such a relief. I also don't have to plan my outfits around my arms anymore.
That said, the scars are still fairly noticeable. Early on they were red, but the redness has faded and now they've settled into a darker shade. I'm using scar cream religiously.
The bruising is completely gone at this point, and the swelling has fully settled. The one thing that's still there is the scar near my elbow — it stings a little when clothing rubs against it. Other than that, recovery has gone smoothly without any real problems.
Going forward I just need to keep up with the scar care and keep the weight off.
