I went around to 8 different clinics

and in the end I put down a deposit with Dr. Jaeho Cho at TheLINE

What I wanted :

1. The doctor's experience

- It looks like he has done almost 20 years (?) of liposuction alone, and I haven't watched the YouTube videos, but he puts his own face on it so I trusted him

2. Safety

- While going around for consultations there were plenty of doctors who said they would give me bone-thin arms and take out 90% of the fat, but only 2 places actually said the word 'safety' out loud, and this was one of them. The manager also told me they have had 18 (?) years with no accidents

3. Line > amount of fat

- I have broad shoulders and a generally fleshy body, so rather than bone-thin arms I wanted a straight line, and the manager kept emphasizing exactly that, so I was completely won over lol

She said that if I gain weight again later or get pregnant, my arms must not turn lumpy as the weight goes on.. just thinking about it is scary;;

4. Short and milder pain (from the reviews it seems to go with bruising, so I ruled out places with heavy bruising)

- The reviews said there is barely any bruising and recovery is fast? The manager said it's because they graft stem cells, which I found fascinating

5. Scar location/number

-Unless you do the biceps side (?), she said they only make one hole (the first time I've heard that number)

I decided to do the full arm 360, armpit, accessory breast tissue and the back bulge and biceps (?) all at once, so they said they would make two holes on each side, in front of and behind the armpit, placed so they don't show

Before going for consultations I only thought about my arms, but the more photos I saw and the more consultations I had, the greedier I got and the more the parts I dislike caught my eye;;T_T

The deciding factor

was that the manager herself had had liposuction at this clinic, which convinced me it's a place I can trust

In terms of results she said I'd be about 4th out of 10? Not amazing, but the effect will definitely be there, that they put safety first, and that instead of an instant result the swelling will keep going down slowly for up to 3 months - she was honest about it, and that earned my trust
