Hello, this is TheLINE Plastic Surgery. This time we would like to introduce the case of a patient who underwent abdominoplasty with Dr. Jaeho Cho!
This is the pre-operative photo of this patient. The patient is 170cm and 75kg, and the skin elasticity of the abdomen had declined considerably due to frequent weight changes. As a result she had long been concerned about the loose, sagging skin, and she decided on stage 2 abdominoplasty at our clinic to resolve this problem. Through the abdominoplasty we removed the sagging skin and tightened the stretched rectus abdominis muscles.
This is the photo taken 3 days after surgery. You can see that the sagging flesh has been tidied up.
This is the photo taken 1 week after surgery. The compression garment makes it hard to see the details, but you can see a clearly slimmer abdominal line. Before proceeding with surgery, we analyzed the condition of the patient's abdomen closely and selected the optimal surgical method. Since the incision has to match the amount of loose skin, the incision line can be somewhat long, but during surgery we took care to place the incision line along the underwear line so that it would not be visible. In this way, scarring after surgery was minimized.
This is the photo taken 1 month after surgery. There is still a scar on the lower abdomen, but with consistent care a scar can fade considerably.^^ As you can see in the post-operative photos, the abdominoplasty removed all of the sagging flesh. The position of the navel was also readjusted, changing into a natural and smooth line. The patient was very satisfied with the surgical result and regained her confidence through her new abdominal line. After surgery the patient is now enjoying a more energetic and confident life. ^^
