Before surgery, despite her respectable height of 165cm, the patient was at a visual disadvantage: fat concentrated in the abdomen and flanks at the center of her torso made her upper body look large and her lower body comparatively short. Flank fat in particular is highly mobile and was the main culprit in making her silhouette look untidy in clothing.
Rather than simply removing fat on a flat plane, we focused on creating a three-dimensional silhouette as if a corset had been pulled tight.
