It's already been 6 months since my surgery! Right now it's so unremarkable that I forget I even had it done. I'm only doing scar care and living my life normally! Some parts of the scars are already unnoticeable and they seem to keep improving, which I'm glad about! I hope they keep getting better as I keep up the care! Only the very beginning after surgery is hard, and after that, seeing how much slimmer my arms are, I feel so glad I did it!
6-month review of arm lipo and arm lift
My arm lift reviewAfter dieting, the thing that stressed me most was the sagging skin on my upper arms. I lost the weight, but exercise couldn't improve the loose skin, so I ended up having an arm lift. The part I'm most satisfied with after surgery is definitely the arm line. My inner arms used to droop so I was very self-conscious about clothes, but now they look much cleaner and smoother overall. There was almost no pain, less than I expected. Even right after surgery it wasn't too hard, and getting back to daily life was relatively easy. Maybe because it was mainly about trimming loose skin, the recovery process wasn't very uncomfortable. The scars aren't especially noticeable. They sit along the inner arm line so they're usually hidden, and they're getting more natural over time. There was no bruising at all after surgery, and there was some swelling early on since it was surgery after all, but it went down naturally over time. Right now there's no swelling and my arm shape has settled in stably. Overall the recovery process was easier than I expected and I'm very satisfied with the result. I worried a lot about the loose arm skin left after dieting, but now I wear short sleeves and sleeveless tops confidently and I'm really happy. Clothes fit so much better too.Exactly one month since my arm liposuctiIt's been exactly one month since I had arm liposuction with Dr. Jaeho Cho. Before surgery my line looked heavy overall, but now, even with swelling still left, I can feel how much more refined it is than before. In clothes especially, my upper arms look less bulky and the line feels like it's coming through, so I'm satisfied. It's not the final line yet, but seeing this much change at one month, I think it'll look much more natural and prettier once more swelling goes down. After surgery, the first 3 days or so had the worst swelling. But from then on the swelling gradually went down, and recovery was faster than I expected so it wasn't very uncomfortable. I could manage light walks and daily activities without trouble after surgery, which I liked most. There was quite a bit of bruising early on, but it's almost fully resolved now. Overall the swelling seems about 80% gone, with a little still left in my arms. The bra line area especially feels like the swelling has barely gone down, which worried me at first, but the clinic staff told me the bra line is naturally the last and slowest area to settle, so I'm reassured and waiting it out. The scars aren't as noticeable as I expected, and I'm keeping up with regenerative cream. Overall recovery was quick and getting back to daily life was easy, so for now I'm satisfied with both the improvement in the line and the speed of recovery.
