I had hip fat grafting with Dr. Jaeho Cho and I'm so happy with it that I'm posting a review~! I had always been on the thin side, then suddenly gained a lot of weight in a few months, so I went in for arm liposuction, and since I was having lipo anyway they said even a small amount grafted into my hips would look good, so I did it! My hip line is straight and flat, you see. In January I had under-eye fat grafting with Dr. Yoosuk Chung, and it really changed my whole impression - one of the best things I've ever done. So when it came to my arms and hip grafting, I chose TheLINE without a second thought. I wondered whether such a small amount was even worth injecting, but they explained that putting in too much actually makes the graft take less well, and a moderate amount survives better! They also said that since I have a small frame, even a small amount would make a noticeable difference. Still, honestly I didn't expect much. But after having it done I was so happy with the result that I couldn't help posting a review.. hahaha I have no hip volume and a bit of hip dips - can you see how the line changed? While it was swollen it actually felt a little oddly big, but as the swelling went down bit by bit it became natural, and the change in the line is clearly visible. I'll need more time to know for sure whether any of it goes away, but for now I'm really happy with it!
Hip fat grafting review~!!
3-month review of abdomen and love handlIt's already been 3 months since I had liposuction on my abdomen and love handles :) I had my procedure with Dr. Yoongeun Kim at TheLINE, and from the consultation he checked everything thoroughly, and on the day of surgery he even came to the recovery room to look after me. When I went back to the clinic for my 3-month check, he examined the treated areas carefully again. My stomach used to stick out and it always bothered me, but now even my lower belly has gone flat! With the belly fat gone my overall proportions look better, and clothes fall much more slimly on me. My waist and back lines in particular have been tidied up, so every time I look in the mirror I can feel how much slimmer I look haha. My pants size went down too! The pants I used to wear are loose at the waist so I take them in with an adjustable button, and when I buy new ones I go a size smaller. At one month I was still wearing XL pants, but now L fits with room to spare. For tops I started at a size 66, and now a 55 fits well, so my style options have widened too. My weight hasn't dropped much, but because my belly and waist lines changed, my whole body looks different! He's a doctor I trust, so I've been actively recommending him to people around me :)Posting my 3-month full-body liposuctionI can't believe 3 months have already passed since my surgery. It reminds me all over again how fast time goes. When I first decided to have surgery I honestly had a lot of doubts and worries. It wasn't only about changing how I look - I think a bigger part of it was wanting to take better care of myself and finally settle something I had thought about for a long time. I had arm, abdomen and thigh liposuction with Dr. Jaeho Cho at TheLINE, and hip fat grafting on the same day. With that many areas done at once I was worried about recovery, but 3 months on my recovery has settled quite well and the visible swelling is almost all gone, so I feel much more at ease. More than anything, it's amazing how naturally I notice the change in my body shape every time I get dressed. I always felt self-conscious wearing fitted clothes, and I used to avoid anything that showed my figure because I had no confidence. But these days I can choose clothes that show my shape much more comfortably and confidently. With my body shape tidied up, even the time I spend looking in the mirror feels different, and starting to like what I see there is one of the biggest changes. My sensation is gradually coming back too. Right after surgery the biobond and the odd skin sensation bothered me more than I expected, but as time passed the feeling has been returning and the areas that were uncomfortable early on are much softer now. I was quite worried about scars. Of the five surgical marks, the ones on my arms have faded noticeably, and the three on my lower body are still a bit dark, but luckily they are all in places that aren't exposed, so in daily life they're barely noticeable, and since I expect them to fade like my arms with time, I don't stress about it much. Actually, at my first consultation I was told that because I have a lot of muscle, the change might not be dramatic. So I had lowered my own expectations, but after going through recovery I was surprised at how clearly my lines look more defined. What I'm most happy about is that the treated areas don't put weight back on easily. I've gained a little weight overall recently, but in my arms, abdomen and thighs I can definitely feel the effect of the surgery. As my body changed, my mindset changed too. Before, whenever I was tired or stressed I would put off taking care of myself, and that led to a vicious cycle of lower confidence. Now I've stepped a little out of that pattern and I take care of myself with a positive routine again. It's not just a simple wish to look pretty - it's more that I want to live as a healthier, more satisfied version of myself. Even if I could go back to before the surgery, I would make the same choice without hesitation. I have absolutely no regrets about the surgery itself; if anything I feel grateful to the person I was for choosing it, given that it was my first general anesthesia and my first surgery. Of course I can't say everything is perfect, but the process of changing in order to look after myself is a very meaningful and precious experience for me. I'm looking forward to recovering a little more from here and settling into an even more natural, stable line than now. I want to keep accepting the changes ahead positively and keep taking care of myself the way I do now. Most of all, Dr. Jaeho Cho! Thank you for taking such care in shaping my lines.
