My skin is naturally soft and sags easily, so I worried a lot about firmness after the surgery. But once I actually recovered, that worry turned out to be completely unnecessary! Recovery definitely feels much faster, probably because it is stem cell liposuction. Compared to when I had liposuction at another clinic a few years ago, this time I can clearly feel my body recovering much faster. Right now there is a little firmness around the axillary breast area, but it is only one month in, so I think of it as a natural part of the process. There is almost no pain, at most a slight ‘rubbing’ sensation deeper in when I rub the skin. Even that is fading, so I feel recovery is going well. The major swelling has gone down a lot now, so I can see the line is cleaner, and the flesh that used to hang down when I raised my arms is much less. Seeing the result with my own eyes makes me so happy. Before the surgery the consultant told me “dieting alongside it helps the line settle even more prettily”... only now do I realize how important that is. From now on I am going to manage my diet and exercise and take even better care of it!
