It has been three months since my abdomen + love handles + thigh saddlebags + upper arm liposuction and hip dip fat grafting! The pain is almost gone and only a bit of firm residual swelling is left! The line has become much more natural, my lower belly is clearly flatter, and I got a waistline, so I can feel my pants fit differently! They say dieting alongside it makes the effect bigger, but working full time made it hard, so I did not really commit to a diet, I just ate a bit less and walked a lot more, and the swelling definitely went down better! The line feels much cleaner!! Also, now that my upper arms are slimmer, I have the confidence to wear short sleeves and tank tops. I am tall so I look bigger built, but with thinner arms I look much slimmer! The surgical areas are still not completely soft, so I massage regularly and go to an aftercare shop! It was hard early on, but around the three-month mark the swelling went down a lot and the line settled, so now I can really see that my body has changed! I still need to diet more and the line is not finished, but for now I am very satisfied! They say the swelling keeps going down until six months, so I am looking forward to it hehe
Looking forward to what comes next~~
Thank you, Dr. Jaeho ChoIt has already been half a year since the surgery. Time really flies. At first I was skeptical, wondering ‘will this really last?’, but now I feel proud every time I look in the mirror. At six months the line definitely feels completely settled. Up to the three-month mark there was slight swelling and tightness, but now my skin is much softer and more natural. When I touch it there is almost no odd sensation, and my whole abdomen feels firmer than before. Honestly, I binge-ate for a while because of stress and gained about 3kg, but these days I am exercising steadily and taking that weight off bit by bit. Interestingly, when I exercise the abdominal line gets even cleaner, and I can really feel my waistline getting much slimmer. The areas I had liposuction on definitely do not gain fat as easily as before, and exercise seems to show results faster too. Most of all, my clothes look different on me. When I tuck in a shirt my abdomen is flat so the fit is much cleaner, and I gained confidence too. Looking back now, I think it was really a good decision. Thanks to Dr. Jaeho Cho the unnecessary fat was cleaned up neatly, and the stress I had about my body has gone down a lot. Now I want to build up muscle lines through exercise and finish it off as a ‘well-managed body’.One-month abdomen reviewIt has been a month since the surgery, and I have recovered enough that everyday movement is not much trouble anymore. Early on, the sharp pain every time I sat down or lay down made it hard to move freely, but now it feels so much lighter that the memory seems unreal. That said, wearing the compression garment constantly has made my skin dry and it often feels itchy or stingy. I think that is unavoidable to some degree, but I am managing it by applying moisturizer and body oil often. I also asked the clinic about rechecking the measurements they took when the compression garment was fitted - compared to the beginning, my abdomen has clearly come in a lot. They told me that as the swelling goes down the skin tightens more and the size shrinks further, so I am going to take care of it and wait! It has not fully settled yet, but seeing my body change little by little in the mirror every day makes me think my decision to have the surgery was not wrong. I will keep up with the remaining swelling care and the injection treatments, and post another review next month in a more settled state!
