I finally feel like my body is settling into place. Right after surgery my abdomen felt tight and it was hard to straighten up, so I remember walking hunched over like an old lady for a few days. But as one month and then two months passed, the swelling went down bit by bit, and looking at myself in the mirror I thought, "ah, this is why everyone gets abdominoplasty." At first I worried, 'did I go too far with such a big surgery,' but now I think it was really the right choice for myself. As my body changed, my mood brightened along with it.
