About a month after surgery, it feels like the major swelling has gone down a lot. That said, there is still some residual swelling in my lower abdomen, so it feels more like a work in progress than completely finished. Still, my body definitely feels lighter overall. The first change I noticed was in how clothes fit. My stomach sticks out less than before, and the tightness I used to feel when buttoning my pants has gone down a lot The side lines in particular are visibly cleaner. The bruising I had early on is almost all gone, and now there are just a few spots that feel slightly firm to the touch. The clinic told me this is a normal part of recovery, so I am not too worried. Daily life is almost completely comfortable, and I am pretty used to the compression garment by now lol It is only month one so there is still swelling, but it feels like things are heading in the right direction, so I am satisfied. I plan to keep taking care of it and see how the rest goes
