It's already been a month since Dr. Jaeho Cho did my abdomen and love handle liposuction, so I'm summing up the changes and the recovery process. I had a lot of fat on my abdomen, and the doctor told me my skin could sag if too much were removed, so I didn't expect much. But even though it's only one month, I can clearly feel the contour is neatly tidied up when I wear clothes, so I'm satisfied. The scars are in the process of fading over time, but they're still visible, so I think I'll need to keep applying ointment and caring for them. Luckily the scars themselves aren't large, so I'm reassured that with more time they'll heal enough not to bother me. The bruising was almost entirely gone about 2 weeks after surgery, and now I'm at the stage of focusing on swelling care rather than bruising. At my aftercare visit they said there's still swelling, so I'm even more excited to see how it looks once the swelling is fully gone. There's still a bit of the bio-bond effect where the areas the fat was removed from feel slightly lumpy. Looking back at the overall recovery, apart from the first 3 days or so after surgery there was almost no pain, so daily life wasn't a problem. That said, wearing the compression garment was quite stuffy and uncomfortable for the first week, which was a bit hard. But from week 2 it became noticeably more comfortable to wear, and now I feel no discomfort at all in daily life. I'm dieting alongside, so I can't wait to see the swelling fully gone and the contour completely settled.
