It's already been a whole month since my upper arm lift. At first the recovery felt long, but now when I lower my arms the flesh that used to spread sideways is gone and the line drops straight down, so I feel proud every time I look in the mirror. Seeing that clothes aren't tight around my upper arms anymore and there's room to spare, I really feel the change. The scars I worried about most still have some redness since it's only been a month, but the color has faded a lot from the start, so I feel like recovery is faster than I expected. The bruising was almost entirely gone about 2 weeks after surgery, and the heavy swelling has settled a lot too, so I have no discomfort at all in daily life. Early on my arm movements were a little awkward and stiff, but as time passed sensation came back and movement became natural, so I think the overall recovery has been very smooth. The line seems to look prettier every day so I'm looking forward to how it turns out!
