It's been about a month since surgery, and I love how pretty the line is!!! Overall the recovery process was fairly easy. Early on I was careful not to overdo it, avoiding heavy lifting and anything that used my arms too much. Other than that I got through daily life without much discomfort, so it was far easier than I expected. The scars were also much less visible than I feared. Even right after surgery they didn't stand out badly, and once the sutures were removed they settled naturally into a thin line. The suturing was done meticulously so the overall impression was very clean. Even a non-expert could tell from the result alone that the surgery went well, and I'm hoping that with more time they'll be almost unnoticeable even without any special scar care.
