It has been exactly 6 months since my surgery, and by now the swelling is almost completely gone and I can really feel my body line taking shape. My arms are much firmer than before, and with the fat gone from my abdomen my waistline feels smoothly defined. My weight has dropped about 8kg more since right after surgery, so my whole silhouette feels much lighter. There was quite a bit of bruising and swelling early on, but it gradually settled down around week 3, and from about a month in I had almost no trouble with daily life. The scars are still very faintly visible, but you have to look up close to see them, so they don't bother me day to day. The scars on my abdomen are healing a little slower than the ones on my arms, but I keep applying ointment and they are fading little by little. My skin texture came back naturally too, and I have no tightness or altered sensation. The way my tops fit has changed, so picking out clothes has become fun lately. My body feels so much lighter than before that I get less tired when I am active, and the change in my shape feels settled. Overall my recovery is going well, and the result looks more and more natural as time passes.
