About 3 months after arm liposuction I can clearly see that the line has been cleaned up a lot. At first I could not tell because of the swelling, but over time the outer line of my upper arms became much smoother. In particular my arms look less bulky in short sleeves than before, so I am very happy. They even feel a bit lighter and the fit of my clothes is definitely different. Right after surgery the bruising spread wider than I expected, but it almost disappeared over about 2 to 3 weeks. The swelling was quite noticeable for about a month and I could feel a difference between morning and evening, but now it looks almost natural. There were some hard, lumpy spots too, but with consistent care and time they softened a lot. The scars are at the incision sites on the inner arm so they are not very noticeable. They were reddish early on and although they have faded a lot they are still there. I applied scar ointment consistently, which I think made recovery faster. Overall the recovery process felt longer than I expected, but at around 3 months the result is clearly visible so I am satisfied. I worried because of the early swelling, but I am glad I waited. Right now my arms feel naturally slimmer, so I am much more satisfied.
